I am Johnny Encarnación, a Technical Lead and Full-Stack Developer. For over 11 years I have built web software and led teams in banking, technology, and customer services. I currently lead visual development at BHD Bank, on the migration of the core from AS400 to T24. I hold a Master's in Data Science from INTEC.

Core migration from AS400 to T24

The bank is moving its core from AS400 to T24. Loans, accounts, and customer records have to arrive intact.

I lead the visual development team. I validate the business rules and the way that data is transformed into the T24 structure, and I work on the integrations with mobile banking, credit cards, accounts, and customer service. Event hubs and microservices keep those channels talking to the new core.

  • Sales workflow

    At OPITEL I led the system that follows a sale from first contact to a closed deal. A Vue and TypeScript application on a .NET Core API replaced the manual process.

  • Dynamic form builder

    A drag-and-drop builder for forms, with Vue, TypeScript, .NET Core, and SQL Server. It cut the time to build a form by more than half.

    Moved the company intranet from Web Forms to a Web API and a Vue TypeScript interface, and set the development standards the team still follows.

    At Amov I migrated applications from VB.NET and Windows Forms to MVC, and kept a mobile-first intranet in front of the people who used it.

I work where the data is sensitive: loans, accounts, and customer records moving from a legacy core to a new one.
